The Atlanta based client had a rough idea for his app logo, in that he wanted a pin and to have contour lines, both tying into the app’s GPS location functionality. This was a tricky concept because of the amount of info contour lines contain and the limited sized app icons are. By turning the pin into the geography, we were able to hit both of the visual goals with a logo that is easily recognizable at a small scale.
